Concert and workshop with Xenia Concerts
|
On Juy 10, 2024, ArtsAbly was invited by Xenia Concerts to give a workshop at Safehaven in Toronto, a place that provides exceptional care to children with developmental disabilities and complex care needs. The workshop was followed by a concert featuring the accordionist Michael Bridge and the singer Diane Kolin, in a Baroque and Jazz music repertoire.

Iranian artist opens Leeds show exploring disability and migration
|
Paralympian Mohammad Barrangi hopes his work will help people think of human stories behind headlines about migration. The show tells a fantastical story of a girl called Lily who sails in a small boat from Anzali, a city on the Caspian Sea in northern Iran, to England. In his art, Barrangi is also telling a story about himself and his lived experience, exploring themes of disability and migration.

Tangled Art + Disability 2024 Call for Proposals

Tangled Art + Disability is now accepting applications to exhibit your artwork at Tangled Art Gallery. They invite submissions from Deaf, Mad, and Disability-identified artists and curators, as well as arts organizations and other cultural producers who practice Disability Arts and Curation.
