The past comes to life in the Village at Black Creek on August 9th and 10th, 2025. The upcoming shows will illuminate the historic village with live performances all weekend long! Travel through time and catch all of the acts by a range of all-star artists!

RAINBOW ON MARS will be performed in Toronto from August 9-20.

Audiences are invited on an odyssey into the mystery and splendour of Blindness in this multidisciplinary world premiere by Outside the March Theatre in co-production with The National Ballet of Canada Theatre.You’ve never seen live performance like this. In fact you’ve probably never seen like this at all.

RAINBOW ON MARS is a Pan’s Labyrinth-meets-The Matrix love story inspired by Devon Healey’s own journey into Blindness. It follows a young woman hurled into an upside-down world of fabulists, fabricators and fatalists as she discovers it’s not only her vision that isn’t what it seems. It’s the first-ever play by the award-winning artist and academic, sure to leave Blind and sighted audiences alike with a visceral experience of the extraordinary power of perception.

The Danny Awards is an event open to individuals and groups with a developmental or physical disability as defined by the US Census Bureau. This includes a significant difficulty and/or loss in one or more of the following areas: hearing, vision, mobility, cognitive processing, ability to perform daily living activities, or independent living.

Call for Entries deadline for the 2025 Danny Awards is Midnight ET on Friday, August 15th, 2025.
