We work with performers and schools to make the arts more accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the arts, whether regarding performance or education, there is a striking lack of conversations about accessibility, disability, and access to artists and students with disabilities to stages and performing spaces. ArtsAbly\u2019s objective is to increase these conversations, and to help artistic structures and ensembles in their path for accessibility improvements. There are multiple ways to approach this subject: talks, workshops, videos and audio interviews, study cases, and venues assessments. This website proposes several ways to know more about accessibility and disability in the arts, and in the classroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music and Collective Access
Symposium 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Music and Collective Access Symposium 2026<\/strong>, a hybrid event co-organized by ArtsAbly and the University of British Columbia (UBC), took place in Vancouver and online, on February 27 & 28, 2026<\/strong>. All symposium sessions included Sign Language interpretation, and Communication Access Real Time (CART) captioning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
